Please read these instructions in full before installation, and keep this manual with the unit for installation, everyday use and future reference. Installation must be carried out by a licensed plumber and electrician.
Safety Information
Read FirstNever
- Do not install in wet areas or in high-intensity light — this can cause the sensors to self-trigger.
- Do not allow the motor bucket to get wet — risk of electric shock.
- Do not modify or disassemble the unit unnecessarily — risk of fire, electric shock or injury.
- Do not install or work on the unit with the power on — risk of electric shock.
- Indoor use only.
Always
- Installation must be done by a qualified technician — incorrect wiring can cause electric shock and fire.
- Mount only on a surface strong enough to support the unit, and fix the unit firmly.
- Use a dedicated power circuit — sharing a line with other appliances can overheat the socket and cause fire.
- Turn off the power switch before cleaning the unit.
- If the unit stops working, turn off the power and the ground-fault circuit breaker, then contact PureTouch support.
- A damaged supply cord must be replaced by a qualified person. A means of disconnection must be incorporated in the fixed wiring per current wiring regulations.
Pre-Installation Checks
Section 01Sink dimensions
Minimum sink size 350 mm × 300 mm, minimum internal depth 100 mm, and at least 80 mm from the wall to the edge of the sink.

Suitable sink types
Inset and under-mounted sinks are suitable. Raised vessel bowls are not suitable. Highly polished, reflective sinks may cause sensor self-induction.

Space under the sink & electrical supply
- Allow at least 400 mm of clear height below the bench for the motor bucket.
- The motor bucket cannot be mounted upside down, and cannot be installed above the sink.
- Keep a minimum 100 mm clearance from the bottom of the motor bucket to the floor or wall.
- A power point is required within 300 mm of the motor bucket, plus an angle valve (G1/2″ thread) on the water supply.

Note: local electrical regulations must be adhered to when installing or repairing this product.
Water temperature control
If warm water is required, install a thermostatic mixer (not supplied) between the hot and cold supplies and the motor bucket.

Mounting multiple taps
When taps are installed side by side, tap centres should be a minimum of 600 mm apart.

Tools & parts required
Electric drill (Ø8 mm bit), long-handle Phillips screwdriver, flathead screwdriver, spanner. Water entry hose (G1/2″, not supplied).

Installation
Section 03Steps 1–3 · Fit the tap through the bench
Feed the flexible pipe and wiring through the Ø35 mm hole (1), fit the seals and tighten the locking collar from below (2), then secure with the hex key supplied (3).

Steps 4–5 · Connect and seat the tap body
Match and connect each docking plug and pipe coupling (4), place the docking plug inside the main body of the faucet and lower the tap onto the base (5). Check the corresponding hole positions on the manifold.

Attention: streamline the connecting wires, water pipes and liquid pipes inside the air duct. Prevent entanglement and folding — this can cause air blockage or uneven soap discharge.
Steps 6–8 · Position and mount the motor bucket
Position the mounting template under the bench (6), mark and drill the fixing holes (7), then fit wall plugs and screw the mounting plate in place (8).

Steps 9–12 · Open the motor bucket
Remove the cover screws and lift the cover away (9), release the connector cover (10), open the internal frame (11) and prepare the connection board (12).

Step 13 · Connect the wiring
Route the tap wiring into the motor bucket and connect the plugs to SW1 and SW2 until they click firmly home. Push each coupling down until it seats — “ok”.

Steps 14–15 · Fit the soap unit
Mark and drill the Ø6 mm fixing holes for the soap unit bracket (14), then mount the soap unit and connect its tubing and wiring to the motor bucket (15).

Steps 16–17 · Connect water and power
Connect the water entry hose to the inlet point and tighten (16), then plug the unit into the power point and switch on (17).

Please note: after the current is switched on, wait up to 60 seconds for the sensor distance to reset.
Steps 18–19 · Check and close up
Run the tap and check every connection for leaks (18), then refit the motor bucket cover and screws (19).

Operation & Care
Section 04| WaterHold hands under the centre spout. Water runs while hands are detected, up to 60 seconds per activation. | Foam soapHold hands under the soap outlet on the left arm. Each activation dispenses 0.5 ml of foam. Use foam-type soap only. | Hand dryerHold hands under the air outlet on the right arm. Typical dry time 10–15 seconds; the dryer stops automatically at 30 seconds. |
All three functions start automatically by infrared sensing at 5–12 cm, with automatic range regulation. After power-on, allow up to 60 seconds for the sensors to calibrate.
Cleaning
- Turn off the power switch before cleaning.
- Wipe the tap body and sensor windows with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasives, solvents or acidic cleaners.
- Keep the air outlet free of dust and debris.
- Never hose down or splash the motor bucket.
Soap refill
The soap unit holds 1000 ml of foam-type hand soap. Refill through the tank cap on the soap unit under the bench. Do not use gel or granular soaps — they will block the foam pump.
Filter replacement — every 6 months
Replace the HEPA 13 filter every 6 months to maintain drying performance and air hygiene. Replacement filters are available from PureTouch. Switch off and unplug the unit first.
1. Remove the cover screws and release the filter door clip.
2. Slide the old filter out and dispose of it responsibly.
3. Insert the new filter, close the door and refit the cover.
Troubleshooting
Section 05| Problem | Likely cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Nothing responds | No power, or sensors still calibrating | Check the power point and circuit breaker. After switching on, wait up to 60 seconds for the sensors to reset. |
| No water | Angle valve closed, or inlet pressure outside 1–8 bar | Open the angle valve fully and check the supply pressure and hose for kinks. |
| No soap, or uneven foam | Tank empty, wrong soap type, or kinked liquid pipe | Refill with foam-type soap and check the liquid pipe inside the air duct is not folded or tangled. |
| Weak airflow / slow drying | Filter clogged | Replace the HEPA filter (recommended every 6 months). |
| Tap triggers by itself | Reflective sink surface or intense light causing self-induction | Shield the sink from direct intense light; avoid highly polished sinks. Contact support if it persists. |
| Unit stops working | Fault condition | Turn off the power and the ground-fault circuit breaker, then contact PureTouch support. Do not disassemble the unit. |
